When I was writing songs for that album, I was writing from a place of strength. I was writing for those were like me, for those who rhymed because they loved it. I was trying let the people know who I was. Let them know a cat from California could really rhyme. Glad I had an opportunity to showcase my skills. Overjoyed that the people respected my work.
